About Sylwester Stabryla

Polish Contemporary Artist. Works and lives in Poland.

A graduate of the Art Department of the Radom University of Technology in 2002.
Diploma in painting - prof. Andrzej Gieraga, annexe with graphics - prof. Krzysztof Wyzner.
He deals with painting, graphics, drawing and many other "unnecessary things"

The artist speaks about himself: I observe reality ... I follow the world ... He deals with painting, graphics, drawing and many other unnecessary things ...

The convention of the painting by Sylwester Stabryła defies the trends of modernly understood modernism, does not steer with the wave of non-elementary art, the artist searches in decks that give the impression of a long-exhausted painting, streaked with decisive, strong pragmatism.
They are symbolic visions saying allegorical content, engaging the viewer in an intricate labyrinth of symbols and various layers of interpretation.
The painting by Sylwester Stabryła engages in an intellectual game and captivates with the unusual aesthetics of form. The eclecticism of academic drawing and free, subjective colourism underlines the original style developed. At the same time, it is fresh and perversely polemicising with the output of the great world masters of painting from the Renaissance to the present day. The art of Sylwester Stabryła is born from observation - the surroundings, reality, personality. Observations reinforced by the sensitivity that imply unusual poetic projections, taking us on a journey into sensual tales.
