Bianca Prettau

Coming from a family where artistic education played an important role, Bianca Prettau began to paint in a minimalist-abstract way and afterwards, in accordance with the specific representation drawing for architectural preparation, to be attracted by figurative drawing. After two decades of multidisciplinary research and practice of architecture, the visual arts have taken an important place in her professional life. As visual artist, she has exposed subjects of scientific interest in artistic formulas, such as the series “Filon”, where the microscopic structures of minerals become a gestural expression capable of drawing attention to adjacent messages to art.
so her latest artistic endeavors are used by the evocative force of painting to convey an apparently discreet but important message, namely the responsibility of everyone in the face of dramatic changes in the ecosystem today.
Her series are composed as visionary journeys of abstract or semi-abstract expressionists towards perceived as the visual relationship between “open work” and its unlimited reading possibilities.
